A/C Service

To make sure all the parts and components of your Heating and A/C system are working properly, Purcell Tire recommends having your system checked at the beginning of each season.

The heater in your vehicle circulates hot engine coolant into a small radiator, often times called a heater core, with a fan positioned in front of the heater core to blow cold outside air over the fins. The air conditioning system in your vehicle is comprised of a compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator.

 

If your vehicle's heating and A/C system needs diagnosis or repair, a Purcell Tire representative first recommends a diagnostic test to look for any worn hoses or seals, leaks, or contamination to be certain your vehicle is ready for the seasonal change.

It is important to note that some refrigerants used in automotive A/C are considered harmful to the environment. Purcell Tire takes care to protect the environment while we also protect your vehicle's system.
