About Purcell Tire and Service Centers

The first Purcell Tire and Service Center location was opened in 1936 by Robert M. Purcell in Washington, Missouri. He then established a second location in Granite City, Illinois in 1951. His son, Robert G. Purcell, opened a third location in De Soto, Missouri in 1964, and under the direction of Robert G. Purcell and his wife, Juanita, those three locations expanded to over 50 locations. Purcell has 4 retread plants, 3 distribution centers, and a growing mobile services fleet offering pick-up and delivery service in 45 states!

Purcell Tire and Service Centers now rank as the third-largest independent commercial tire dealership in North America. We also have the largest retread capacity for OTR tires, and we are one of the 10 largest independent tire store chains. Purcell Tire and Service Centers has locations: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington. For the past 88 years, Purcell has delivered commercial and passenger vehicle services, new tires, retreading and specified applications to millions of satisfied customers.
